ABOUT ME

The four years of the career in product design have taught me what I intend to reflect in this portfolio. From purely product design and development aspects to the world of graphic design. In the incoming years I would like to learn and log on to other ways and points of view concerning industrial design engineering and product development, with a keen interest in the more technical sector of production, especially in companies where the value of design is the main pillar of the company, with innovative projects and challenges, most likely in a country abroad.

Internship in the technical office of Santa&Cole.

The main target of the internship at Santa&Cole, was firstly to document the production routes, suppliers, weights and technologies of the 80/20 catalog in order to assess their environmental impact within the framework of the product Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) project.

The project has analyzed the details of the construction and development of Santa&Cole products, also entering into the associated industrial processes, in order to perform the analysis of the results obtained in the LCA calculations.

I have also been able to collaborate with all the departments that make up the technical and development office of Santa&Cole, being part of projects that have encompassed:

Modification and adaptation of products in their catalog for special orders.
Updating some of products in the Santa&Cole catalog according to modifications due to structural and functional design improvements.
"Create and modify technical instructions for products to be uploaded to the website. Also, review and modify technical drawings and 3D models for the website.

In all departments I have learned the dynamics and operation of a company recognized worldwide acquiring knowledge of everything that encompasses the chain of ideation to production, modeling of parts and realization of plans, checking the feasibility of the product, correction and redesign and finally the industrial manufacture of this.
