Citric Bioplastics

The goals of this project deals with the suistainability. With the aim of promoting an organic, ecologic and ecofriendly product. Working from different types of recycle materials to create a biodegradable material, which would end up being a bioplastic.

I chose to synthesize it from the residues of fruit skins. Which leads to analyze and work on the properties of their compounds, considering chemical substances to obtain the final sample and contrast their different behaviors under the effects of cooking, being modified according to their elements.

The result of the biomaterial obtained is reused to make compostable key hangers. There are three types of key hangers that will be shown in detail below, differentiated by the material from which they have been created. With different properties such us: Translucency, smooth, flexibility, residue smell and fragility.
